Let me start by saying that this seems like it may actually be a pretty good read. As I read the first chapter of the manuscript Raising A Parent - The Experiences of One Family By: Aaron Liberman. I found myself identifying with the Arthur as he talked about how parent make you do a lot of things when you are young that you usually hate doing but it is usually for your benefit in the long run I did not go through any of the same things that he talked about specifically but I did have my fair share of stuff I could remember.
I liked the way he kind of broke down the mind set of an elderly person as they watch all of their close friends and love ones pass on. I never thought about how depressing that could be. I could very well see how some older people are bitter and grumpy now. Maybe they just don't have much to look forward to anymore. They may even be ready to go on to be with their love ones and friends. That is not to say that they don't love us who are still left here on earth.
